FUMITO GANRYU” will launch a collaborative collection on March 17, 2023 (Fri.), which includes a second edition of the sneakers and apparel launched in collaboration with Converse during the 2010 spring/summer season.

The second version of the model, which sold out immediately last season, is now available! Collaboration collection for Spring/Summer 2011, including clothing, is now available!

Fumito Ganryu, created by Fumito Maruryu in 2015, is a brand that proposes conceptual wear that focuses on the relationship between clothing and the body. This time, the brand is releasing the second edition of its collaboration sneakers with Converse, which gained popularity last season, as part of its spring/summer collection along with clothing items.

Collaboration model with an unexpected reconstruction of Converse’s representative work

From the toe cap, the placement of the shoe hole, the stitchwork, to the toe guard, the “All Star” has been distorted like a doodle, yet the design of this model has been calculated for functionality. This unexpected reconstruction attempts to extend the angle and depth of the All Star’s finished image.

Jersey garments are made elegant by coloring and silhouette

The clothing collection sublimates sporty jersey material items into elegant designs through coloring and silhouettes. The front portion of the tops features the “CONS” logo in silicon print and a 2D code tag symbolizing Fumito Ganryu on the back. The pullover can be worn as a poncho by opening the zippers on both sides. The bottoms also feature the same silicon print logo. The silhouette is thick and straight, but by opening the zippers at both hems, it can be arranged into a flared pants-like silhouette.
