Loafers are a casual model among leather shoes. The Tassel loafer has a glamorous impression among them, but Church’s Tiverton has a masculine and martial atmosphere with pinking (jagged teeth processing) and beef rolls on the tongue portion. The beef roll is a decorative stitch that wraps around the saddle on top of the moccasin-stitched vamp (instep), and was originally a gimmick to increase the strength of the moccasin’s mouth, the prototype of the loafer. The Tiverton can also be said to feature such classic beef roll stitching.
