Introducing the appeal and typical models of U-tip leather shoes.

U-tip leather shoes that do not give the impression of cuteness, yet still have a relaxed look. It is a versatile item that goes well with casual coordinates and can also be used to add a touch of sophistication to suits and dressy outfits. In this issue, we focus on the “U-tip” and introduce its charm and representative models of each brand!

What is a U-Tip?

The U-tip, as the name suggests, is a design that uses a U-shaped tip as the upper transition, and is said to have first appeared around the 1930s. In the United States, they are used for golfing. However, since they are consistently recognized as casual shoes, they are not suitable for ceremonial occasions where formal wear is required.

The vertical stitching often seen on U-tip shoes is called ” skin stitching ” and is used for decoration. This skin stitching is said to be a highly difficult work that can only be done by a limited number of craftsmen, and because it is done by hand, it gives a unique look that cannot be obtained with machine stitching. It is also characterized by its high durability, as tension is added to the sewing thread with each stitch.
