A pop-up of the PLAN C men's collection, which debuted at Pitti Uomo, is now being held at Hankyu Umeda!

PLAN C, which presented its first men’s collection at Pitti Uomo in June 2024, will hold a pop-up store at Hankyu Umeda Flagship Store on April 5 (Sat), where visitors can experience the world of the men’s collection, which will be presented for the first season in 2025 SS. Carolina Castiglioni, Creative Director from Milan, is scheduled to visit the store on Saturday, April 5.

PLAN C's first men's collection presented at Pitti is finally here!

To celebrate the debut of PLAN C’s long-awaited men’s collection, a special pop-up is currently being held at Hankyu Umeda’s 3rd floor POP UP CIRCUS from April 1 (Tue) to April 22 (Tue). The installation will be a space sublimated by the harmony of textures and rich colors of the materials, breathing the essence of art and design by Carolina Castiglioni, creative director of the brand.

This ingenious installation marks the debut of the PLAN C men’s collection, June 2024. It was presented at Pitti Uomo 106 in Florence, Italy. The installation, created by Carolina Castiglioni with Italian artist and designer Duccio Maria Gambi, focuses on bold, sharp textures, making use of the texture of the materials, blending them with sophisticated colors to create a unique rhythm and depth to the entire space. The contrast between the two creates a dynamism that is woven throughout the space. The dynamism of these contrasts makes the world view of the men’s collection stand out even more vividly.

This pop-up features the brand’s first menswear collection as well as a wide range of lineup including the women’s collection. The PLAN C collection takes the aesthetics of the women’s collection as its starting point, but incorporates a new men’s perspective and consists of a modern wardrobe that allows for a freedom of style that transcends gender boundaries. The brand skillfully blends opposing elements such as classic and high-tech, masculine and feminine, understated and bold, to create a unique balance.

Hankyu Umeda first sale

The free spirit and adventurous spirit of the T-shirt lineup includes several types of T-shirts, including a design depicting Pili, the original character, waving lightly with a suitcase, and another depicting Bianca, also an original character, carrying several suitcases. The design also resonates with the Osaka Expo, which opens on April 13, and evokes the excitement of a trip into the future.
The limited number of items will be available while supplies last.

The lineup also includes accessories reconstructed from a sustainable perspective using the brand’s archival fabrics. The pin badge, which is a playful yet elegant design, is also available in the brand’s archive fabrics. The Bianca embossed patch on the upcycled fabric bags is an example of the brand’s aesthetics and humor, down to the smallest detail.

There will also be a variety of pop-up-only participatory experiences!

During the exhibition, a special photo booth will be set up at the venue, combining art and playfulness. There will also be an interactive experience where visitors can create their own original stickers of PLAN C’s iconic characters, Pili & Bianca. In addition, Creative Director Carolina Castiglioni will visit the store from Italy on April 5 (Sat). Purchasers of products during the pop-up period will be able to participate in a workshop where they can experience the fascinating design using rope, which also appears in the 2025 SS collection. This is a special opportunity to create an original item incorporating PLAN C’s unique creative perspective while choosing your favorite colors and combinations.
