New Levi's Made in Japan Collection is now available! Made in Japan Collection with Traditional Techniques

Levi’s® will launch its new MADE IN JAPAN collection on August 4 (Fri.), pursuing the highest quality. It will be available at Levi’s® stores nationwide, Levi’s® online store, Levi’s® app and some select stores.

Sublimating Levi’s denim into a modern artistic style with excellent Japanese craftsmanship and venerable traditional craftsmanship

When denim production was introduced to Japan during the rationing era of World War II, Japanese craftsmen began producing garments by operating old shuttle looms by hand. In the 1950s, when rock and roll and other forms of American culture became increasingly popular, the Japanese developed American denim production styles and constantly refined the Japanese tradition of meticulous craftsmanship. And now, Japanese denim has become one of the most admired and coveted fabrics in the world. In this Made in Japan collection, traditional Japanese techniques are incorporated into classic Levi’s® signature silhouettes, and the unparalleled craftsmanship has elevated denim to a modern art form.
