What inspired the campaign visuals? The starting point for sacai’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection is James Dean’s “curiosity,” “honesty,” and “freedom, The models are Chandler Frye and Chandler Dean, who are the inspiration for the Spring/Summer 2025 collection. The visuals express the coexistence of the “rebellious spirit” and “sophistication” that both Levi’s® and sacai have in common. Three jackets from the men’s collection are available. In addition, one ultra-wide baggy jeans model with unisex specifications has also been announced. Introduced first is a denim jacket that inherits the hybrid aesthetic. The front design is a fusion of Levi’s® classic denim jackets “Type Il” and “Type Ill,” and the back design is inspired by the “Type I” with a classic cinch. The silhouette is a slightly A-line boxy type. The design has been carefully considered down to the smallest details such as piping and gussets used to reinforce the collar. The gold shiny sun spot shank buttons, custom-made based on vintage Levi’s® buttons, are also impressive. It is available in indigo and blue.
“Denim x Matelassé Twill The “Reversible Blouson” is a tailored blouson made of sacai’s original matelassé twill, which can be turned inside out to reveal the details of a trucker jacket. The front is covered in exposed selvedge, the collar in premium gray felt, and the iconic sacai anchor button.
The “Levi’s® x sacai Reversible Blouson” is made of indigo and black The blouson side, made of sacai’s original fabric, has a cigar pocket on the left sleeve, reminiscent of the brand’s MA-1. Flip it over to reveal a “TYPE II” trucker jacket with pleats and a chest pocket in the center front, and sacai ribbing on the sleeve muzzles and hem.
Featured denim pants are unisex The featured denim pants are ultra-wide baggy jeans with unisex specifications. The “Levi’s® x sacai Denim Pants” have a mid-rise with a ⾰innovative seven-pocket design. They have welt pockets over the traditional back pockets and a reversible belt with denim on one side and grosgrain fabric on the other.
At sacai Aoyama for a limited time
sacai Aoyama, Levi’s® x sacai Tailor Shop” will be held for a limited time from May 28 (Wed) to 30 (Fri) to coincide with the sale of the collaborative collection. This is a service that allows customers to customize the collaboration items with studs and initial embroidery. For those who want to experience this service, please check the official website for the lottery admission on Thursday 29 and Friday 30, excluding the release date.
