G-SHOCK’s first Ilkkji model is reissued! Three yellow and black models with biomass plastic

G-SHOCK has released new models in collaboration with AISAC Japan, which has been nicknamed “Irkuzi. The three new models are the “GW-8200K,” “GA-B2100K,” and “GMD-W5600K. The release date is Friday, June 16, 2023.

Since 1994, the “Love The Sea And The Earth” theme has been the basis for the “Irkutji” collaboration with AiSearch Japan, which has been loved by many people. This time, the design is a reissue of the first “International Dolphin and Whale Conference” commemorative model released in 1994, and at the same time, for the first time in collaboration with ISEARCH Japan, biomass plastic, made from renewable organic resources, is used. The base models are the GW-8200 and GA-B2100, and the new GMD-W5600 model with radio wave solar functionality.

Faithfully reproduces the coloring of the first generation! Three models with dolphin and whale graphics throughout and special specifications

The case is black and the band is yellow, faithfully reproducing the color scheme of the first model released in 1994. In addition, the back of the watch is engraved with the “Love The Sea And The Earth” symbol, the theme of the collaboration. When the backlight is turned on, a whale appears on the “GW-8200K” and a dolphin appears on the “GMD-W5600K. The “GA-B2100K” has a whale motif on the small hand of the inner dial. In terms of functionality, all models are equipped with Tough Solar, which converts sunlight into power. In addition, the “GMD-W5600K” is equipped with a radio wave reception function, while the “GA-B2100K” is equipped with Bluetooth ^{®︎ Tough} Solar, making it easy to set the time. The watch is packaged in a 100% cotton drawstring bag that can be reused as a pouch.
