JINS&SUN×VERDY” is filled with the design of VERDY, a leading figure in street culture.
VERDY is a graphic artist who has been involved in various projects such as “Girls Don’t Cry” and “Wasted Youth,” and is a driving force in the global street culture scene. This collaboration was born out of a mutual sympathy between VERDY, who continues to boldly take on challenges beyond the boundaries of an artist, and JINS&SUN, which aims to democratize sunglasses through free and new proposals for people who wear sunglasses, regardless of who wears them or the scene. The collection is a combination of various elements that cannot be ignored when talking about VERDY⽋ on the canvas of “JINS&SUN” sunglasses.
The sunglasses with two attachable frames can be changed into three different patterns with a touch of a button.
The “JINS&SUN x VERDY” collection is based on clear lens sunglasses that block 99% of UV rays, and comes with a “colored lens plate” and a “toy plate” that can be attached and removed with a single touch of a magnet. The collection consists of two types of Wellington sunglasses. The clear lenses and colored lenses can be used in different ways depending on the scene of use, and the TOY plate, inspired by Mr. VERDY’s TOY collection, can be attached to the lenses to enjoy wearing the sunglasses.
Original design parts are used on both ends of the frame and plate.
All products come with an original sunglass case and cello featuring VICK, an original VERDY⽒ character drawn especially for this collaboration. The case and strap set is made of Tyvek, a strong and water-repellent material that can also be used as a sakosh.
