The long-awaited “Shin Evangelion the Movie” has been postponed since last year. Many people have been anxiously awaiting the release of this film, which will conclude the series. In the midst of all this, eyewear brand JINS and Evangelion have teamed up to release their first collaborative eyewear since 2012. This long-awaited third collaboration features three eyewear models with hints taken from Evangelion’s modeling and meticulous attention to detail. Two models of glasses are based on the image of Unit 1 and Unit 2, and one model of sunglasses is based on the image of Unit 1. In addition to the eyeglass case, the collaboration includes an original box for each eyewear as an accessory. The black color scheme gives the glasses a luxurious feel.

JINS is launching a limited edition version of the highly popular “MEGANE on MEGANE” (glasses on glasses) for the launch of the collaborative eyewear, which will be introduced by JINS in 2019. The service allows customers to try on products and score the suitability of their glasses while wearing them. During the order period, the collaboration eyewear will be available at all JINS stores in Evangelion-specific designs with newly-drawn illustrations.
