G-SHOCK, which pursues new expressions by combining colors, materials, and finishes (CMF), and continues to create unique designs by employing processing technologies such as IP and laser, new materials, etc., has designed the “Blue Phoenix,” a legendary bird. The “MTG-B2000PH-2AJR” is designed with the legendary bird “Blue Phoenix” as its motif. The newest addition to the “MT-G” series, which fuses metal and resin, the MTG-B2000PH-2AJR features a rainbow IP finish on the bezel and case, giving it a special phoenix-like feel.
This watch has a special finish with coloring reminiscent of the Phoenix scattered throughout its parts.
This work expresses the phoenix, which is said to be a good omen, and features different coloring for each part. The multi-colored dial is exquisitely accented with pink and orange.
The bezel and case, which are coated with light blue IP to resemble the high-temperature flames worn by the phoenix, have a mysterious coloring that seems to intersect with several different colors. Taking advantage of their separate structure, the bezel is designed horizontally, while the case is vertically, with a gradation of red to yellow. The rainbow IP coloring differs from one watch to another, allowing the wearer to enjoy the unique texture of each piece.
The band is made of navy skeletonized material, which evokes the magnificent appearance of a phoenix.
