Dr. Martens’ classic boot “1460” has been given an underground air by Rick Owens!
The first pair of collaborative shoes will be based on Dr. Martens’ iconic “1460,” a pair of 8-hole boots that has been loved by a wide range of people since its birth in 1960. In the “1460 BEX DS RO,” Rick Owens has taken the 1460 and projected his dark, underground worldview that he has maintained for nearly 30 years. The design is characterized by a geometric pattern that extends all the way down to the toe, as is typical of Rick Owens, who is known for his creative use of shoelaces. Incidentally, this collaboration will consist of two parts, with the second part scheduled to go on sale in May.

Based on Dr. Martens’ first model and iconic shoe, the “1460,” the new version incorporates Rick Owens’ signature shoelace design. The sole uses Dr. Martens’ ” BEX sole ” and is finished with a chunky sole with a sense of weight. In addition, the signature color of Rick Owens, “taupe,” is used not only for the laces, but also for the heel loop and welt stitching. The collaborative model also comes with an insole featuring both brands’ logos and black laces.
