Dr. Martens and Rick Owens share a common philosophy of celebrating the alternative and challenging the mainstream. This second collaboration features a more sculptural silhouette that incorporates the aesthetic of Rick Owens, who is known for his avant-garde designs. These 8- and 18-hole boots feature the “QUAD RETRO” sole, which is approximately 5 cm thick, with an oversized tongue attached. Tumbled black Luna leather is used throughout for a soft, comfortable fit that contrasts with the silhouette.
The 8-hole boot features a signature lacing pattern that expresses Rick Owens’ worldview, and a dull silver hook trim. The DNA of Dr. Martens is also evident throughout, from the heavy zip on the inside ankle to the black and pearl heel loop and yellow welt stitching.
