Lemaire’s limited-time store is the result of a spontaneous collaboration between the two brands, temporarily occupying a vacant property in the heart of the city in a legal and creative way. The shop is produced by SKWAT, an organization that seeks to bring new energy into urban spaces through spontaneous collaboration, while temporarily occupying vacant properties in the heart of the city through legal and creative means.

The interior and fixtures were created by reusing scrap wood from a 100-year-old traditional Japanese house and using a traditional woodworking technique called “mokkumi,” which does not use glue or nails. The space is designed in such a way that the beautiful silhouettes of Lemaire’s clothes give pleasure and comfort to those who wear them, and the clothes and the space seem to blend into each other, becoming a kind of “place. The second floor is home to “twelvebooks,” which sells art books from around the world, and the B1F is also home to “SKWAT PARK,” an indoor park that is open at night.
