Formality meets denim; focus on the holiday collection released by G-Star RAW!

One of the most notable items in the collection is the “5650 3D Relax Tapered” jeans. The world’s first cradle to cradle certified™️ (gold level) stretch denim material, Kir Stretch Denim Organic 2.0, is used to create a sustainable product. This material has the potential to be degradable. This material contains 2% ROICA™️ V550, a premium stretch fiber from Japan that is degradable. The use of organic cotton grown without the use of harmful pesticides and fertilizers, as well as the use of stretchable fabrics, are all made with sustainability in mind. The use of indigo dye is reduced by 15% and the use of chemicals by 70%.

The design is inspired by “jazz musicians”!

The design of the “5650 3D Relax Tapered” was inspired by the lively movement of a jazz musician playing the trumpet. Since trumpet playing is done with the knees bent, the pants worn are smooth in the front and wrinkled in the back. It is surprising that such a distorted silhouette is expressed using G-Star RAW’s signature three-dimensional denim philosophy. When we look at the denim with this background in mind, we can see that the backs of the knees are shaped with an insertion panel, the shaped coin pocket and back pockets are reminiscent of vintage pockets that have been stretched after years of use, and there are many other details throughout the garment. The charm of the details scattered throughout is conveyed more directly.
