Regimental striped ties are misleading!

Italian gentlemen are also avoiding regimental ties!

Even the men of “Italy,” the Mecca of Latin suit and jacket culture, tend to avoid wearing regimental ties. They prefer “small patterns” or “solid colors. In a sense, they are conscious of the frequency of use and cost-effectiveness of their choice, choosing ties that can be worn with both formal suit styles and casual jackets. While they change suits and jackets every day, it is not uncommon for them to wear ties continuously.

The British trend has led some of the gentlemen to dare to adopt a regimental striped tie!

Even though they prefer plain or small-patterned ties, they do not necessarily wear ties with regimental stripes at all. This season, British classics are the trend of the moment, and at the most recent Pitti Uomo, we saw a number of men daring to wear regimental striped ties with their jackets and suits.
