There are two main types of waterproofing sprays: silicone-based andfluorine-based. Understanding the characteristics of both types of waterproofing sprays, you should choose the waterproofing spray that best suits your needs.
<Silicon-based spray>
coats the item to enhance its waterproofing effect, and while high water repellency can be expected, many sprays are not suitable for use on breathable waterproofing materials such as Gore-Tex, since breathability is impaired. <Fluorine type>
