The difference between the very similar Adidas sneakers “Campus” and “Gazelle”
The sneaker’s slim, sports-inspired silhouette and simple design are often compared to, and even confused with, the Adidas “Campus,” but the differences are surprisingly clear.
While the “Gazelle” is more of a “football shoe” for running around on grass or dirt fields, the “Campus,” which is based on a basketball shoe, is released as a “court shoe” for playing tennis, handball, and other sports on the court. The “Campus,” which is based on a basketball shoe, was released as a “court shoe” for playing tennis or handball on the court. Both have a flat sole in common, but compared to the outsole of the “Gazelle,” which looks like a dense cluster of small spikes, the “Campus” has a wave-shaped sole that is more like a basketball shoe. The sole and upper are also bonded together, with the “Gazelle” designed with rubber tape wrapped around the sole and the “Campus” sturdily constructed with stitches.
Although they may seem similar, it is interesting to note the differences in the construction around the toe and laces, and other details that show the difference in origin between outdoor and indoor competitions.
The “Campus”, a masterpiece created by adidas, is a pair that goes great with adult outfits! What is its charm?
