In 1951, Joel Moscot, the third generation, took over the Milsen brand, which became even more famous for his charming and cultured personality. In 1986, Joel’s son, Harvey Moscot, and six years later, in 1992, Kenny Moscot, Joel’s youngest son, joined the business as the fourth generation of the Moscot family. Joel’s youngest son, Kenny Moscot, joined the business six years later in 1992. Soon after, a second store opened in Manhattan, which has remained Moscot’s flagship store to this day. Harvey and Kenny had the foresight to expand the brand business from its domestic roots to a global brand. And since 2013, the brand has been led by the fifth generation, Zach Moscot, and Moscot eyewear is found in high-end select stores and boutiques around the world. In recent years, the brand has been recognized in the fashion world, as seen in Thom Browne’s show at ” Pitti Uomo,” the world’s leading men’s fashion trade show held every year in Florence.
