The 998’s midsole uses “C-CAP” in the forefoot and “ENCAP” in the heel, and is equipped with “ABZORB” as a shock-absorbing material. C-CAP is a lightweight material that is compression molded EVA material, cushioning by sealing in PU material. C-CAP is a lightweight, compression-molded EVA material, and ABZORB, which is included for the first time in this model, is a cushioning material that absorbs the impact of the foot on landing and at the same time returns the energy to the foot on take-off.
