Otsuka Pharmaceutical is famous for its Pocari Sweat, but in the supplement category, the company offers the ” Nature Made ” series. Nature Made was originally developed in the United States and introduced to Japan in 1993, where it has been sold ever since. Therefore, although the products are handled by a Japanese company, they have the unique structure of being an American brand. Nature Made was established in the U.S. in 1972, and for about 50 years it has focused exclusively on research and development of supplements, making it a highly reliable brand. In 1994, FANCL was the first company in Japan to use the word “supplement,” which was unfamiliar in Japan at the time. The origin of the company name is “fine chemical = unadulterated chemical product. In addition to supplements, FANCL also sells beauty cosmetics.
