P.O.D. System” combines Adidas’ unique sole unit with traditional design
The P.O.D. System is a series that further evolves by combining a sole unit that combines three of adidas’ signature technologies with designs inspired by adidas’ traditional archives. The newest additions to the series showcase a more sophisticated and modern sense of style.
The “POINT OF DEFLECTION SYSTEM” is the origin of the P.O.D. System’s name. This unique sole unit features a highly resilient EVA material in the forefoot for support, BOOST foam for comfort in the heel, and a durable rubber outsole.
Also, inspired by the unique ” The newly developed “POINT OF DEFLECTION BRIDGE” inspired by the “TORSION SYSTEM”, which was used in many 1990s models, enables smooth movement and fit in the forefoot and heel areas of the foot. The upper is made of a classic knit material reinforced by overlay parts and embellished by the logo on the heel tab and the three stripes detail.
