Swedish sneaker brand SNS has collaborated with adidas Originals to create the “SNS CT NYC,” an exclusive line of “SNS GT” sneakers in a limited-edition SNS silhouette.

Paying homage to New York’s Meatpacking District, the new collaborative model “SNS CT NYC” in brown
Based on the “Stockholm GT” released in 1980, the collaborative sneaker was inspired by the Meatpacking District in New York City, where SNS opened its first U.S. store. The Meatpacking District, originally a meatpacking district in western Manhattan, is a historic neighborhood of brick buildings. Inspired by this district, the brown premium suede is matched with a retro gum rubber midsole in the same color. The iconic 3-stripe and heel tab feature leather overlays. In addition, the “SNS GT” letters on the side in gold add to the premium look. The outsole also features the same soft, cushioned outsole as Adidas’ ” Handball Spezial.
In addition, the campaign video was created with artist Stephen Powers, focusing on the history and murals of the Meatpacking District. The graffiti legend, known for creating art throughout the city, recreated classic butcher shop signs and posters that are closely associated with the district’s history.
