Futuristic design blends Kawasaki aesthetics with the world of the adidas Originals ZX Series
This is the second collaboration between adidas and Kawasaki, which was released in April of this year and received a favorable response. This second edition of the collaboration is based on the ” ZX22 “, the latest model of the ZX series, which was created in 1984 and has been loved for over 30 years. The bold metallic upper is accented with Kawasaki’s identity color, lime green. The three stripes in the same color are made of reflective material for a mechanical look. The rubber mudguard and overlay, which match well with the upper material, are also distinctive features. The Adidas ZX series is derived from Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX series of sports-type motorcycles, and the “Ninja” logo is subtly emblazoned on the side of the collaborative shoes.
The lime green heel cage wraps around a BOOST-cushioned midsole unit. The gradation expresses the dynamism of the motorcycle. Like the previous model, the shoes will be sold in a special shoe box featuring graphics of Kawasaki’s ” Ninja ZX-10R.
