Japan’s leading down brand NANGA has released new down jackets, including the Japan Limited model “MIKAMI” of the Aurora Light series and the “UTILITY,” which is based on a flight jacket motif.

Nanga was founded in 1941 as a sleeping bag manufacturer focusing on domestic production. Nanga is proud of the top quality of the down it uses through the selection of production areas, pursuit of quality, and domestic cleaning and refining. Nanga has now launched a total of five new items, including four types of down jackets and one type of down pants.
1) “AURORA LIGHT DOWN JACKET MIKAMI
This is a new model of Nanga’s lightweight, ultra-warm “Aurora Light Down” jacket. This made-in-Japan model reflects the structural theory of “Level 7,” which is the know-how of Nanga’s top sleeping bag “Level 8” that has been converted to clothing. The box quilt structure used for sleeping bags is employed on the wrists, where cold air tends to penetrate, to improve heat retention. The functional and unique design, including ventilation at the neck, is still in place. The model is named after Mt. Mikami, also known as Omi Fuji. It is available in four colors: black, brown, coyote/khaki, and dark navy.

(2) “AURORA LIGHT STAND COLLAR DOWN JACKET MIKAMI
Stand collar model of Aurora Light down made in Japan. The quilt structure and pocket structure that is independent of the body have been improved to prevent the loft of the down from collapsing. Compared to the hooded model, the silhouette has a cleaner impression, making it ideal for town use. It is also available in four colors: black, brown, coyote/khaki, and dark navy.

AURORA LIGHT UTILITY DOWN JACKET
This is a directly-managed store limited model with a classical look that mainly uses Aurora Light material. It is designed in the motif of a flight jacket, and was launched as a new innovative down jacket by Nanga. The design is simpler than the Aurora Light Down Jacket while maintaining the same warmth retention properties. This one is available in five colors: black, brown, coyote, khaki, and dark navy.

4) “TAKIBI DOWN JACKET
The “TAKIBI DOWN” is a down jacket made of Nanga’s original flame-retardant fabric blended with aramid fiber, a flame-retardant material. It is equipped with six pockets and hand warmers on the front and a zipper pocket on the back. It can efficiently store small gear and is useful not only for outdoor activities but also for daily use. The hood is detachable and can be used in different situations. The color lineup includes beige, charcoal, coyote, purple, khaki, and navy.

5⑤”TAKIBI DOWN PANTS
The takibi down pants item is made of flame-retardant fabric with added functionality and durability. The pants have a total of eight pockets, and the inside fabric of the waist pocket is made of a raised material with excellent heat retention properties, making it effective as a hand warmer in cold outdoor scenes. The knees are designed with consideration for flexion, and the fabric is double layered for sturdy double-knee construction. The jacket can be set up and coordinated with the Takivi Down Jacket, or worn over pants as overpants. The color lineup is the same as the jacket.
