ZARA announces the long-awaited second collaboration collection with Luigi Villasenor, designer of the popular LA-based men’s brand Rhude. The collection, which includes clothing, shoes, and bags, will go on sale in Japan on February 20 (Mon.) at the official online store and some Sales Stors.

Zara and Luigi Villasenor’s collaborative collection Redesigning Human Uniform, or RHU for short, was born in 2022 with the first collection. The shared intention of both parties was to offer a wardrobe infused with the quality and thought of forward-thinking contemporary luxury, but at a scale and price point accessible to all. zara and Villasenor re-evolved the RHU’s contemporary “uniform” to present a new evolution and larger expansion of the collection. The second collection launch was made possible by the coming together of the two companies.

On the set of the RHU campaign shoot, Villasenor said, “The premise and goals of this project remain the same. The RHU is a practice of fashion democracy, where every piece is conceived, prototyped, and produced with the values of dignity and accessibility at the forefront.” he said.

RHU’s second project, casually titled ” Cross Country,” which is also marked on Villasenor’s signature varsity jacket It reflects the project’s unique all-encompassing philosophy. Like the first collection, it allows freedom of expression through style, without being bound by the traditional sensibilities of contemporary wear. It is a bold and creative experiment that empowers the wearer to transcend traditional notions of sportswear, luxury, and streetwear. The collection defies categorization and categorization and includes denim, workwear, motorcycle wear, base layers, Ivy League, tailoring, climbing gear, sneakers, formal shoes, and more. This season will also see the introduction of a new fragrance, ” RHU Body Spray.

Villasenor continued, “I think that kids today don’t want to be defined or conformed to the norms and boundaries of their parents’ way of thinking. This philosophy is reflected in the outward appearance they desire. The baggies are comfortable and free, but they mix and play with proportions, bringing in oversized and cropped, or tight in the body. And I see a future in mixing prints and playing with color. My only regret about this collection is that it wasn’t available at a time when I was forming my own identity and style through clothing.” He stated.
