Levi’s® has launched a special capsule collection named after “Earth Day” from its Vintage Clothing line. The lineup includes graphic T-shirts and jeans from the 606™ series.

A timeless capsule collection reminiscent of the 60’s, inspired by Earth Day
The movement to raise awareness of global environmental issues began in the late 1960s on campuses across the United States. And on April 22, 1970, Earth Day was born, the foundation of today’s environmental movement. Levi’s® pays homage to these early student activists with the ” Earth Day Capsule Collection ” of vintage clothing for Earth Day 2022.
The items are made from organic cotton, which is grown on farms with no synthetic chemicals or pesticides and with soil health in mind, as part of Levi’s® commitment to sustainability, and the graphics on the T-shirts include the Earth as seen from space and “The Earth: She’s Still Wonderful.
The lineup also includes jeans in three different washes based on the 606™ series, commonly known as the Super Slim, first introduced in 1965. The 606™, the precursor to the orange tab series, was the brand’s first jeans made with an emphasis on fashion. These jeans feature a slim fit with a tapered silhouette that tapers toward the hem, and the black and orange logo tab is also a key feature. The simple design without archuate stitching on the pockets or back patches is also attractive. The collection also features sustainable items reminiscent of the 1960s, based on the theme of “Buy Better, Wear Longer,” which is the origin of Earth Day.
