Maison Margiela has unveiled a new addition to its popular ” Replica ” fragrance series. Replica Eau de Toilette Wen the Rain Stops” will go on sale nationwide on March 24 (Thu). The Maison Margiela “Replica” Fragrance Store in Omotesando will begin pre-sales on March 17 (Thu).

The new Replicas fragrance, which transcends time and place and recreates memories and moods with its scent, was inspired by the city of Dublin, where the afterglow of a spring rain lingers. It expresses the moment when sunlight shining through the gaps in the clouds reflects on the drops and puddles of water dripping from the grass and flowers, enveloping the air with a stillness as if time has stopped. The aquatic fragrance reproduces the luster of nature with delicate pink pepper and rose petal. The top notes are citrusy bergamot oil and vegetal accord, while the middle notes are lush aquatic accord and jasmine. The final base notes are reminiscent of a forest, with pine needle oil and patchouli.
In addition, visitors to the Maison Margiela ” Replica ” fragrance store, which just opened in Omotesando in February, can try the scent in testers prior to its nationwide release. The store is also accepting a limited number of reservations. A limited number of pre-orders are also being accepted.
