Doucal’s was founded in 1972 by Mario Giannini, the current owner, in the Marche region of central Italy, a region with a thriving shoe manufacturing industry. The brand is known for its driving shoes, loafers, and monk shoes with skillful use of materials. This pair of double monk strap shoes features a wingtip design, which is rare except for laces. The grained leather with a sense of grain gives the shoes a luxurious feel. The blue, almost black, hue is also ideal for casual use.
