Military jacket representative model 4 “B-3

This flight jacket was officially adopted by the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1934. It was worn as a set with “Type A-3 Trousers,” or pants, and is also known as a representative “bomber jacket” because it was worn by bomber crews. Sheepskin (sheep shearling) is used to protect pilots flying in extremely cold heavy zones (-30 to -10 degrees Celsius), and it boasts outstanding heat retention among military jackets. The surface of the leather is coated with polyacrylate paint and lacquer, which gives it a strong luster.

The brand was established as a contractor of ” U.S. ARMY AIRFORCE. The Air Force is famous for having developed a succession of clothing that cleared all of those mil-specs, although strict conditions were imposed on the Air Force, partly because there were no pressurizers or heaters in fighter planes.
