Lee “101” jeans have shaped the history of jeans through numerous updates over the 100 years since their birth. The evolution of the brand is reflected in the current lineup, which ranges from the “Lee Archives” series, which reprints classic models, to the “100th Anniversary Model,” which marks a milestone in the brand’s history. The legendary jeans that have been passed down through the ages are once again attracting attention.

Lee AMERICAN RIDERS 101Z

These are authentic Japanese denim jeans with a modern twist on the Riders jeans of yesteryear. The silhouette is a royal straight that is neither too thin nor too thick. The jeans feature iconic details such as the lazy S on the hip pockets and threaded rivets. The color fade-resistant finish allows the fabric to retain some of its appearance even after repeated washing. It is available in four colors: unwashed, dark indigo blue, indigo blue, and blue.

The one introduced from the “Lee Archives” series is a phantom model that was produced during the short period from 1944 to 1945, when the transition from “COWBOY” to “RIDERS” took place. The “COWBOY” stamped button and the “RIDERS” label are symbolic of the mixing of the two. This is the origin of the vintage denim that became the foundation of the current 101.

Lee ARCHIVES COWBOY 101-Z 1948

This model was introduced in 1948, just after the transition from “COWBOY” to “RIDERS”. The brand logo on the distinctive OGIVE POCKET and the hip pocket label, which has been passed down as an icon in later eras, give off a sense of presence.

Jeans have evolved from workwear to cowboy fashion, and in the 1955 movie “Rebel Without a Cause”, James Dean wears “101” jeans to show his “youth” and “rebellion”. The jeans became a symbol of “youth” and “rebellion”. This model is a perfect example of RIDERS that embodies the atmosphere of the times.
