The “PORTER TANKER 2WAY HELMETBAG” released from this series features an original three-layer fabric consisting of nylon twill (front), polyester cotton (middle layer), and nylon taffeta (back), inspired by the “MA-1” flight jacket of the US Air Force. The back side features the MA-1. The reverse side is set in bright rescue orange, one of the MA-1’s distinctive designs. The aluminum zippers, snap buttons, and metal fittings, such as the nasucan, are made to peel off so that they can be enjoyed as they age.
