Why is "Rangeman," one of the toughest G-Shock watches, so attractive to active and serious adults?

What are the specifications of the G-SHOCK “Rangeman” designed for ultimate survival toughness?

The name “RANGEMAN” is derived from the word “ranger,” which means a person who operates in extreme environments such as jungles and mountainous regions. The GW-9400 is the first G-Shock to feature a triple sensor that can measure direction, atmospheric pressure/altitude, and temperature using three compact sensors, and is designed to withstand the rigors of survival missions in hot, rainy jungles and dense jungles. The watch is also equipped with other features designed to withstand the ultimate in survival.

The buttons are designed to be large enough to be easily operated even when wearing gloves, in anticipation of rangers going on missions with numerous pieces of equipment. The buttons are equipped with metal cylinder guards to mitigate side impact, prevent entry of foreign objects, and enable smoother and more precise button operation. In response to feedback from firefighters and others during the development phase who said that in a survival environment, they “take note of the time many times,” the watch is equipped with a direct time stamp that can be easily memorized with a single push, as well as a stopwatch that can be quickly activated with a single push as well.
