Looking Back at the First Steps of the G-SHOCK 6900 Series on its 25th Anniversary

The 6900 series was first introduced to the world 25 years ago in 1995. The G-Shock overseas model “DW-6900-1V” released in February of the same year marked the beginning of its history. The case design was based on the round shape with front buttons that had been popular on the “DW-6600,” and the face design was inspired by the three indicators used on the “DW-5900,” a combination of the best of both worlds.
