Wild Things is an outdoor brand founded in 1981 by mountaineers John Borchard and Marie Meunier. With functional yet sophisticated designs, the brand offers items that can be worn from full-fledged outdoor activities to town use. In recent years, Wild Things has been delivering its Monster Parka to the U.S. Army and Marine Corps. While the original’s excessively large roominess has been reduced, the overall relaxed fit allows even a thick inner layer to be worn with ease.

The shell is made of high-density woven cotton nylon with an elegant matte texture. The lining is made of a superfine microfiber material with excellent warmth retention, light weight, and water repellency. A hood is built into the collar to protect the face depending on the cold or weather. A drawcord allows the hood fit to be freely adjusted. A waist adjuster is provided inside the side pockets, allowing fine adjustment of the fitting around the waist. As with the original, PrimaLoft insulation is used for the padding. The ultra-fine fibers are water-resistant, and the dense fibers form an air layer that traps heat from the body and blocks cold air.
