Charm of Vans “ERA” (2) “This is different from authentic! Thick footwear mouth”.
The Ella is a skate-inspired version of the Authentic, and the design of the upper is similar. The most different feature is the padded upper. This was originally designed to prevent the mouth from digging in and hurting the foot when skating. They are more durable than the Authentic and are more comfortable in everyday life. The images below show ERA on the left and Authentic on the right.
