How to do the wrist curl effectively and correctly?

The difficult part of strength training is that it is not enough to simply lift dumbbells. Also, the wrist is a joint that is prone to injury, so it is important to use proper form. Here, personal trainer Oshima explains the correct way to perform wrist curls.

Place your arm on a chair or table, hold a dumbbell with one hand, and hold it firmly in place with the other hand so that it does not float. Then, as you roll up your wrist, exhale while lifting the dumbbell. The effect will be more effective if you are aware of your muscles as you lift the dumbbells. When lowering the dumbbells, hold the dumbbells with just your fingers and lower them as if you were stretching out your palms. The goal is to perform this series of movements 15 to 20 times. If this is difficult, it is recommended to adjust the weight of the dumbbells. Also, be careful not to use too heavy a weight, as the wrists are prone to injury.
