In the case of John Robb and Edward Green, it is their possession of superior lasts that enables them to produce world-class ready-to-wear shoes that are loved around the world. It is only natural that the company’s founder Tony Gerling developed Edward Green’s popular lasts, but the lasts used by Gaziano & Gerling are also masterpieces befitting a top brand. The “GG06” last, which bears the brand’s own name, has a modern long nose despite being an English shoe. The traditional round toe also has the elegance characteristic of English shoes.

Gaziano & Gerling uses the ” Oak Bark Sole “, the symbol of luxury shoes, in all of its leather shoes!

The sole made of oak bark material is also a specification that is used only in Bespoke shoes and some high-end shoes. Gaziano & Gerling uses oak bark soles in all of its leather shoe models.

Gaziano & Gerling’s supplier, J. & FJ Baker, is the only tannery (leather tannery) in the U.K. that handles oak resin since 1862. 14 months of traditional process, handed down for over 150 years, is used to produce the best leather with full fibers. Unlike ordinary leather soles, oak bark soles are not only luxurious in appearance but also durable. Gaziano & Gerling elevates the finest oakbark to a level that is almost bizarre for a ready-to-wear shoe by applying a semi-crowded finish and fodder back.
