“Ploom LOUNGE” will feature original content in collaboration with Mr. Shin Nagakawa, owner and chef of ” Japanese Restaurant Shinkuro,” who also has experience as a sake master. Mr. Nagakawa was born in Shizuoka in June 1992. He was attracted to the allure of sake when he was a university student and became certified as a sake rishu master while still in school. After graduation, he entered the world of food and beverage, gaining experience at izakaya (Japanese style pubs) and Japanese restaurants before opening his own restaurant, ” Wagashoku Shinkuro” in Gotanda, Tokyo. With the theme of “Japan Craft,” the restaurant is gaining popularity as a Japanese restaurant that focuses on domestically produced sake, ingredients, and tableware.

CRAFT SAKE WEEK 2026A festival of Japanese food culture by Hidetoshi Nakata
“CRAFT SAKE WEEK 2026” is a Japanese food culture festival organized by JAPAN CRAFT SAKE COMPANY, which is headed by Hidetoshi Nakata, a former representative of Japan’s soccer team. The organizer, Mr. Nakata, started the event in 2016 to “convey the wonder of Japanese culture to as many people as possible,” after traveling throughout Japan and meeting numerous producers of sake, agriculture, and crafts, and strongly feeling the depth and potential of sake as he came into contact with Japan’s proud culture and technology. Starting with Roppongi in Tokyo, the event has been held in Hakata in Kyushu and Sendai in Tohoku, attracting a total of more than 1.25 million visitors*1.
