Hublot has unveiled the ” Big Bang Unico SR_A ” in collaboration with British designer Samuel Ross. This is the first SR_A signature model equipped with the in-house movement ” Unico ” and will be available in a limited edition of 200 pieces worldwide.

The new “Big Bang Unico” is the result of a partnership between Hublot and Samuel Ross. SR_A” embodies an evolution based on construction, material innovation, and contemporary industrial design; the unique creative language developed through the three SR_A Tourbillon Edition collaborative watches released so far since 2020 is further refined in this work.
The distinctive feature is the 42mm case made of satin and polished black ceramic. By echoing the bold geometry and modular construction characteristic of the ” Big Bang ” series, but opting for an all-black ceramic finish, SR_A returns to a refined, minimalist aesthetic.

This is the first SR_A to feature Hublot’s in-house developed and manufactured ” Unico ” movement. Mr. Samuel Ross’s industrial codes and Hublot’s signature chronograph caliber are united to create a finished product that looks like a work of art. The newly developed honeycomb rubber strap with Samuel Ross’s iconic honeycomb motif at its center is also noteworthy. This motif has previously been seen in SR_A’s sculptures and early limited edition models, but now appears as a new structure developed specifically for this model. Lightweight, ergonomic, and architecturally strong, the strap further emphasizes the industrial character of the SR_A series.
“By using a honeycomb structure, we aimed to remove information from the watch and highlight its lightness,” Samuel Ross explains, “The strap continues the design language established in previous collaborations, while optimizing it to be accessible to a wider audience. It is a perfect blend of ceramic technology, industrial geometry, and the performance of the ” Unico ” movement.
