New Limited Edition in Violet and Lime Green

What colors symbolize the times? Glashütte Original’s Limited Special Edition of the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date answers this question every year. The violet-colored “Plasma” and lime green-colored “Fusion” dials presented this time are inspired by visions of virtual space, which get to the heart of our times and foreshadow the future at the same time. And the square case with its attractive rounded corners is reminiscent of the futuristic design shared by the world in the 1970s, and the retro form and the bold color of the dial are in perfect harmony. This latest edition blends the past and present even more successfully than previous models, matching the design of the 1970s with two of the most exciting colors of our time.

The two new special editions of the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date in two new colors, each with a name that intentionally leaves room for interpretation: the dark purple is named “Plasma” and the bright yellow-green is named “Fusion”. The “true color” of the dials is different for each viewer, as the color changes depending on the angle from which the watch is viewed and how the light hits it. Both colors match the contemporary feel of the watch, while at the same time expressing a vision of the future in which reality and the digital world are fused together. Illustrations of futuristic visions are often colored with sparkling violet and lime green, and this color palette is derived from the same. By reflecting these two colors from virtual space to real objects, Glashütte Original has succeeded in sustaining a luminosity and harmony that differs from the digital vision.

The new “Plasma” and “Fusion” versions of the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date are limited to 100 pieces each and will be available at all Glashütte Original boutiques and authorized retailers worldwide starting August 14, 2025.
