The second edition of Raining Champ’s KYOTO BLACK COLLECTION, which incorporates the long-established Japanese traditional craft of “Kyokuro Dyeing,” will feature a pullover hoodie made of Raining Champ’s standard signature material, MIDWEIGHT TERRY. The second edition of the collection will feature four items in total: a pullover hoodie, slim sweatpants, a crew neck, and a classic midweight jersey tee. A multi-step process consisting of natural dyeing produces a jet black color that is resistant to sun and rain and remains even in color over time. The collection is constructed with Raining Champ’s unique flat seam sewing, which is also comfortable and durable. The brand’s iconic zigzag stitching on the back of the pullover hoodie, crew neck, and classic tee tops is one of the brand’s unique features.
