SHOW&TELL to Hold Offline Try-On Event

The “Fitting Room,” an event where visitors can try on items handled by the online store “SHOW&TELL,” which offers a lineup of “lifetime” brands that can be used for a long time, is to be held. The first event to be held at the “Fitting Room” will feature the popular British brand “WAX LONDON”.

What is the “Fitting Room,” an offline event where visitors can try on the latest collections of popular brands to their heart’s content?

The “Fitting Room” is an offline event where customers can try on and purchase products of brands handled by Showtel, which has a large selection of long-established fashion brands, on the spot on its e-commerce site. The first event will feature Wax London, which began full-scale development in Japan last season. The event will be held in Tokyo and Osaka, and visitors will be able to try on the brand’s full lineup of new products for spring/summer 2011. 1) “Whiting Over Shirt”.

Named after co-founder Tom’s grandfather, this is a symbolic item of the brand. With its voluminous fabric and loose fit, it can be worn like a light outerwear, perfect for the spring season. The woven fabric, which brings out the color of the threads with a sense of nostalgia, also works well as a styling accent.

(2) “Didcot Shirts.”

The lineup also includes short-sleeved shirts with a retro mood, arranged in a modern way from the bowling shirts and Hawaiian shirts of the 1950s. They feature traditional camp colors and vivid patterns and colors.

3) “Cart trousers”.

These are Wax London’s classic pants, developed in different fabrics each season. The size can be adjusted by tightening the drawcote at the waist for a comfortable fit. The silhouette tapers from below the knee to the hem, creating a sleek, clean look.
