Onitsuka Tiger and the anime ‘ Urusei Yatsura’, which is currently airing a completely new work, have announced a collaboration. In addition to costume cooperation in the anime, a completely original story movie and newly-drawn visuals have been released. In addition, three items will be released on October 29 (Sat): a pair of tiger-patterned shoes, a sweatshirt featuring the newly drawn visual, and a tote bag.

Onitsuka Tiger and ‘ Urusei Yatsura’ have been building Japanese sneaker culture. A fusion of fashion and anime!
This is a special collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger, a Japanese sports fashion brand that develops contemporary collections, and the anime ‘ Urusei Yatsura’ written by Rumiko Takahashi. In the first episode of the anime, the main character Ataru Moroboshi wears Onitsuka Tiger’s iconic “MEXICO 66” shoes, and in the third episode, scheduled to air on Thursday, October 27, the heroine Ram will wear the original anime model of “DELECITY” featuring a chunky and unique design.
The special movie and newly drawn visuals commemorate the collaboration and tell the original story of Ram and Ataru in the “Neo Shibuya” of the near future. A virtual store inspired by Onitsuka Tiger’s Shibuya store will also make an appearance.
The centerpiece of the collaborative item is the tiger-patterned “DELECITY,” inspired by Lamb’s costume. The tiger pattern is designed not only on the upper but also on the chunky yet lightweight sole. These special collaborative shoes are limited to 700 pairs in 15 countries around the world.

The sweatshirt, featuring an original, newly drawn visual, is an exclusive piece available only in Japan. The iconic scene from the anime, a game of tag, is boldly printed from the back to the front.

A tote bag featuring a delicate gradation of lamb is also available only in Japan. It is a 2-way bag with hand and shoulder straps. Purchasers of the limited items will be provided with an original shoe box and shopper exclusive to the collaboration.

In conjunction with the release of the limited items, a pop-up store will be held at Onitsuka Tiger Shibuya 2 from October 29 (Sat) to November 6 (Sun). In addition to experiencing the “Neo-Shibuya” world depicted in the movie, there will also be an exhibition related to the collaboration.
