Discover the World of Fragrances at Japan’s Largest Perfume Festival “Salon de Parfum 2022” at Isetan Shinjuku!

Salon de Parfums”, a perfume festival, will be held at the main building of Isetan Shinjuku Store from October 20 (Thu) to 24 (Mon). More than 40 brands of fragrance-related items, including fragrances and limited items available only during the event, will be gathered. The Men’s Pavilion, which will be held for the second time this year, will be open from October 19 (Wed) to November 1 (Tue).

The 10th anniversary of the event will be held at the main building, and will feature brands that have landed in Japan for the first time! Many events and seminars will be held!

The “Salon de Parfums” will be held for the 10th time this year, and will be held for the first time in three years on the 6th floor of the main building. Among the many fragrances lined up, the most notable is Maison Crivelli, which is making its first appearance in Japan. The brand was born in France in 2018 based on the belief that “the creation of a fragrance is born from an experience. The founder, Thibault Crivelli, embodies memorable scenes he has experienced into fragrances, and focuses on creating unprecedented fragrances.

Special limited-edition kits will be available for purchase, and events will be held by fragrance specialists, including an event introducing the creative story of Jean-Claude Elena, a perfumer active in France since the 1970s, and a fragrance selection session with advice from fragrance specialists. You can also choose a fragrance while receiving advice from a fragrance specialist.

More than 300 fragrances and pre-sale items from about 20 brands, including 3 brands that are opening stores for the first time, will be available in the Men’s Pavilion!

The ” Salon de Parfum ” will be held in the Men’s Building, as it was last year, and will feature more than 300 items, including brands that are making their first appearance at Isetan Shinjuku. The first brand to make its debut is Parfums Satori, created by Japanese trainer Satori Osawa. The fragrance focuses on the lightness that is comfortable for Japanese skin and Japanese climate. Inspired by flower arrangement and tea ceremony, the fragrance is characterized by a gentle scent that incorporates Japanese traditions.

Nineteen-Sixty-Nine, produced by Swedish artist Johan Bergelin, is another notable brand making its first appearance: a fragrance that has been available in 22 countries since its launch in Paris in 2017 at select stores. The numbers in the brand’s name symbolize the counterculture movement of the 1960s and 1970s.

Lastly, Bailao, a wellbeing brand by fashion consultant-turned-healer Yasmin Sewell, was founded in London in 2021 and is a much talked about fusion of healing and puffy marijuana. The eau de parfum is adorned with Herkimer diamonds, a stone said to purify energy, selected by renowned energist Louise Mehta.

Also in the men’s pavilion, there will be an event where you can place a full order with a branded perfumer, and a fragrance consulting event with fragrance stylist Anne Kiko.
