In 2022, Zegna agreed to become the official luxury travelwear partner of the prestigious Spanish soccer club Real Madrid. The company has announced that it will design off-field wear and uniforms for the club’s top soccer and basketball players.
This is a one-of-a-kind collaboration between Zegna, with its long history as an icon of Italian-made luxury menswear, and the world’s biggest club. The special collection designed for Real includes overshirts, jackets, and jogger pants. The brand’s symbolic double stripe on the upper left pocket of the jacket is made of reflector material that reflects light to emphasize its presence.
The double stripe embodies the beliefs of Ermenegildo Zegna’s founder, Ermenegildo Zegna. As a result of Ermenegildo Zegna’s early commitment to sustainability, the company established Oasi Zegna, a nature preserve in Piedmont, Northern Italy. The design pays homage to Route 232, a road that crosses the area.
Zegna’s classic Triple Stitch™ sneaker in exclusive Vicuna colors
The limited-edition Triple Stitch™ sneaker from the partnership collection is made of soft black suede. The iconic Triple Cross is finished in Zegna’s iconic vicuna colorway. The heel of the sole, which is triple-crossed on the current model, also features a double-striped graphic on the limited edition model.
