nanamica and THE NORTH FACE Announce New Capsule Collection Apart from Purple Label!

Nanamica will release a capsule collection with THE NORTH FACE this autumn. This new collection is slightly different from the previous THE NORTH FACE Purple Label, and was planned especially for the nanamica store. The collection will be available only in Japan from September 18, 2021 (Sat).

A new frontier of nanamica and THE NORTH FACE is unveiled. What is it really like?

This limited collection is a different approach from their previous collaboration line, THE NORTH FACE Purple Label, and was specially planned for the nanamica store. Nanamica mixes fashion items with sports functionality and reconstructs them into neutral designs that transcend genres, age, and gender, and THE NORTH FACE Purple Label is based on outdoor wear and blends the values of THE NORTH FACE with street sensibilities and silhouettes that fit the times. The concept of this capsule collection is a crossover of the two different brands’ individuality.

The collection that overlaps the identities of nanamica and THE NORTH FACE Purple Label is full of items that can be used from fall!

Items will include nanamica’s iconic items such as the Balmacaan coat and cycling pack, as well as field down jackets, field caps, cargo pants, and regular collar shirts. THE NORTH FACE Purple Label’s The 65/35 bay head cloth, a core material of THE NORTH FACE Purple Label, TPE fabric laminate, a representative material of THE NORTH FACE, and design details that give a sense of nanamica are also noteworthy points. The identity of both brands is strongly expressed through each product, overlapping each other’s characteristics.

After the popularity of traditional styles in the 1970s, the heavy-duty style swept the streets of the time, incorporating outdoor wear as a fashion statement rather than wearing it only in nature.
