50th Anniversary of “Okayama Jeans” “Three Special Days to Buy Special Jeans and Denim Products in Tokyo

Tottori Okayama Shinbashi-kan, an antenna store in Shinbashi, Tokyo, jointly operated by Okayama and Tottori prefectures, will hold the “Okayama Denim Fair” for three days only from December 28 (Mon.) to 30 (Wed.), 2015. Five local manufacturers from “Ibara City, the birthplace of domestic denim fabric,” and “Kurashiki City, the birthplace of domestic jeans (products),” will open stores. This is a chance to obtain jeans and denim products made in Okayama Prefecture, which are hard to find in Tokyo. It is also a great opportunity to hear the voices of the makers in person. Novelty goods will be given to the first 100 visitors. How about experiencing the charm of “domestic jeans” and “domestic denim” through this rare event commemorating the 50th anniversary of the first domestic jeans produced in Japan in Okayama Prefecture?
