The story behind the birth of ” INSTAPUMP FURY

In the late 1980s, Reebok formed an elite design team called ” ATG (Advanced Technology Group)” to develop innovative products. They developed “The Pump,” a basketball shoe released in 1989, and Reebok’s iconic “The Pump Technology. Later, the development team changed the name to ” RAC (Reebok Advanced Concepts)” and pursued a minimalist design and lightweight products. The team then created the “INSTAPUMP FURY,” using the pump technology built into the shoe as part of the upper and boldly splitting the outsole in two.
