What boots are OK for business use? Features and examples of coordination for each type!

Double Monk Strap Dress Boots “The most dressy of all laceless shoes, OK for business use, of course!

Optimization and versatility for business use: ☆☆☆☆☆

The double monkstrap shoe was developed by John Robb after receiving an order from the Duke of Windsor. The double monk boot is the result of incorporating such a design into a boot. Many of them have a cap toe, so they can be worn with suit styles. If the slacks are not too narrow or the length of the slacks is not too short, the monk strap part can be almost hidden, so they are recommended for men who prefer a more modest impression. Incidentally, the Crockett & Jones “Canberry” model shown below was worn by Daniel Craig, who played James Bond in “007 Spectre,” with his suit.

External shuttlecock dress boots “Modest upper design and dark color are OK for business use!

Optimization and versatility for business use: ☆☆☆☆

The “outside shuttlecock” is a design in which the upper is sewn onto the upper at the dovecote attachment point. Incidentally, it is said that the external shuttlecock style leather shoe originated from the combat boots invented by a Prussian army marshal named Bruecher during the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. In Europe and the United States, the boots are called “Derby” because the shape of the outer blades resembles the gate of a horse race, or “Blucher,” which is an English reading of the inventor’s name. Unlike the inner-feather type, the blades open and close, making it easy to adjust the fit and put on and take off, and it was widely used in hunting boots and work boots, where functionality was required. As can be seen from the above historical background, they are not suitable for formal occasions, but if the upper design is modest (plain toe, straight tip, quarter brogue, etc.) or the last is slender, there is no problem in using them for business purposes.

Many men wear them with suits, but not in the orthodox dark suit style, but in the suit or jacket style with a touch of fun and a little bit of a twist. Outdoor brands and casual shoe brands are also participating in the external shuttlecock boots genre, so the rule is to choose from brands that offer dress shoes and business shoes from the viewpoint of matching them with business. If you value cost performance, we recommend REGAL,Jalan Sliuaya,Berwick, andBURKE.
