Chukka boots originally originated from boots used in polo competitions around the end of the 19th century. Since the shoes are rooted in sports competitions, they do not fit formal styles such as dark suits, but they can be used in casual business styles such as jacket and pants styles and no-tie suit styles such as warm biz. Most of them are made of suede, which is easy to use in holiday coordination, but there are also many models made of leather, so it is a wise choice to choose leather chukka boots if you mainly use them for business purposes.
